Term time childcare

The Cabin Childcare Centres' nursery occupies a purpose-built nursery for children aged 2-4 years, located at the rear of the YMCA building in Honicknowle.

We have a large integrated room for children, which caters to different age groups and individual developmental needs. We also have a small room which is used for small group time and quiet activities. 

We have a large play area outside, featuring a mud kitchen, climbing frames, play house, tunnel and much more, for the children to explore.

The nursery is open from 8.00 am - 5:00 pm during term time, offering full and part day care. All 3 and 4 year olds are eligible to attend a registered preschool setting using government funding for 15 hours per week during term time, from the beginning of the term following their 3rd birthday until they are of school age. We accept Me2 funding for 2 year olds and 30 hour funding where eligible.
